this number apparently started with two 00 so I knew it was false
Twice today, Suspicious, we said nothing and there was no response before the line went dead.
An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

Rung several times over the past few days. They don t seem to know exactly who they are! Sometimes trying to sell a cheap(?) SKY insurance scheme or trying to interest me in some sort of financial investment. I m not biting either but (if I m not busy) I get a bit of satisfaction in stringing them along and wasting their time.

SCAM Caller told me he was from Virgin and I had a router problem I am not with Virgin! Second call in 20 minutes, noise in background suggested this was a call centre or boiler room.

when you try to call this back, it says number not in service. I have picked up a couple of times when it s called and there was only silence.
