Involved in accident auto call scam
Scam. Call centre with many people talking Indian or something similar in the background. They hang up as soon as they have their next victim.
This number appeared as an incoming call, and disconnected after answerphone message kicked in. When redialled, the person who answered denied making any outgoing call and hung up.
Texted me with the message 'We're sorry, but you don't have enough credit. Your recent purchase could no be completed.' Followed by a link to click, presumably to "top-up" my credit. Funny thin is - I've not purchased anything. Clearly a scam.
