SCAM about Phone bill
Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. I am hiping that I have not been charged anything but will need to check my bill when it arrives.

Scammer claiming to be your ISP and threatening to cut you off unless you reply.
Fraud - Pre-recorded electronic voice claiming there is a HMRC Tax Fraud case against me. HMRC don't phone you, and certainly not to tip you off!!
Received this call today 12 May, rang on my mobile, no message left, obviously a scam call.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release. Automatic robotic female voice message claiming to be from Amazon. Said my Amazon account would automatically renew today for £39.99. Hmmmmm..... I do not have an Amazon account. "If you need to speak to an operator press 1" so I did. Asian sounding bloke asked my name, address, Amazon account number and date of birth. Probably all he needed to order stuff from an Amazon account ! Called him a scammer and told him to foxtrot oscar. Beware people as I have never heard this one before.
Trying to sell PPI recovery which everyone should know by now no one, needs a company to do it for you, just write to the bank and ask for it back! if you do know if you had a policy write any way the bank will tell you. He Gave some strange non-existent government depart they are part of.
