Spam/scam caller just hung up
Been getting these unknown 0750185 numbers for the past week, but today curiously the number calling me was identical to mine apart from one digit. It came from north of Manchester. I dont answer any more as last time I did that all I got was a prerecorded threatening message from an officious female voice to say my NI number would be cancelled unless I acted immediately. Pathetic nonsense from someone who isnt exactly a criminal mastermind. They need to get a life and stop pestering folk.

called today, pressed 5 as i missed the first part of call and went through to some guy who said something like i wouldnt do that and hung up
Had the same message 5 times this week from different numbers saying I had set up a new payee and to press a link if it was not me they have used the name of 3 different bank non of which are mine
Debt Direct have been calling me from an unknown number on my mobile, asking me to press five if I want to know more about IVA bla bla. I don t, but I pressed five the other day because I wanted to get through to them to stop them calling again. I got a call from a Scottish bloke today on 0115 828 5039. Strop strop, no sir, we are not calling you from unknown numbers. He keeps denying it and then I hang up after telling him to take my number off his database. I had several missed calls from this number. When I called them back I was told it was a prison number and the lady had no idea why I was being called!
