Text message from this number claiming to be my child in a dire situation involving a smashed phone, lack of money etc. No name given and clearly a fake message. Did not provide my bank details.
Didn t sound British. Wanted to tell me about a device to save on electricity costs, which they were going to send me. I thanked her profusely and asked if I could have her number in case I needed any further help. At first she said all the numbers I d need would come with the device, but I persevered and got this number from her. I said I very much looked forward to receiving the device. All this must have either flummoxed her or raised her suspicions, because she never got round to asking for any money or
