I phoned the number back. It s a bunch of Indian scammers pretending to be HMRC. Very similar to the IRS scam in the US you see on youtube.

This number rang me several times a day. I took the advice of the commenter and rang them back. To my amazement I spoke with a nice sounding person and I asked that they remove my number. Let s hope it works.

0161 068 6317 when you answer it plays a recorded message stating you are involved in fraud and if you don’t press 1 a warrant will be out for your arrest and you will arrested shortly. Don’t press 1 it’s probably a scam

Indian guy saying he was from nationwide building society. When i told him my building society do not ring be and i didnt believe he was calling from nationwide he hung up.

Fraud Someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach and telling me I have an issue with my router. Number now blocked
