Rather like the comments on the right. I received a recorded message purporting to be from BT about my internet connection and advising me not to do any on line banking until I had pressed a number on my telephone to contact them get it sorted. Needless to say the only button I pressed was the disconnect button. Presumably they thought I would be gullible enough to let them have details of my bank transactions - I don't do on line banking on principle!

I get a call from this number several times a week which is just silent on pick up. This is a little worrying for the elderly person in the house. I am registered with the TPS.
