I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Rang back and spoke to Dawn. Wouldn t give me any details about the company "due to data protection" but if I provided her with my address, postcode and DOB she could tell me! I hung up in the end because I couldnt stop laughing at her :)

Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.
