I have a CC with Vanquis Bank that is cleared every month if it has been used. I had £30 to pay when I get paid on Friday and they have tried to take it from my account. My phone was Rang and when answered nothing. Probably called from a computer from scam company similar to pinging an ip address
The number as reported has only 10 digits, it needs 11 to be valid. Some Santander numbers do start 05511 so in principle it s probably genuine, except too short.
