Indian guy told me he was fro BT regarding my internet connection, told him I didn’t believe him and what number was he calling from. The cheeky sod quoted the BT 0800 etc number. So I said and what was it you wanted, he put the phone down on me !!! ????I

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with car phone warehouse.
This is a scam number as it appears to be a London based number but appears on phone display as an international number. How stupid are the scammers when basic phone technology is showing it not a call from a legitimate uk number and they never leave a message.

We have found the phone number on the letter is not the same as on previous correspondence, the same with the post code . Although the letter looks legitimate they are asking me to fill in my bank details. I have phoned the pensions office, but they were not very helpful and just said they asking people to go to the bank rather than post office for payments, but did not advise to the reason for the varying post code and phone number. I am therefore not going to respond to this request.

Some investment brokers, calling me twice a day. Had my full name then asked if i had thought about investing in stock trades? I said no thanks and the rude woman said why not? Such a bad tone then when I said don t call again she told me to go f**k myself! Absolute b*tch.
Same type of call to my mobile - "First Source", female voice asking about any accidents in the past 2 to 3 years. I hung up.
