Vague sounds of heavy breathing as I indicated they could stick their boiler recycling scheme (or whatever) up their ar5e. Said nothing so I hung up. Called back six times in rapid succession but still silent, to some people this is a job?

Fraud - CONFIRMED when I rang the Halifax bank on their 0800 0 15 15 15 phone number. Text purporting to be from Halifax bank, saying that "A new payee has been linked in your app. If this WAS you, ignore this message, if NOT, cancel at Halifax secure-linkuk.com"
Automated call claiming that my internet would be disconnected within the next 24-48 hours. At this point I assumed that the call was a scam and so disconnected.

Claiming to be from the National Lottery asking for bank details make your own mind up if it's a scam or not ;)
