Call received from a male with an Indian accent stating he was calling from Aviva, but his English was very bad and I said I couldn't understand him and asked for someone else to ring me if important. So far no response. There was a lot of chatter in the background and he didn't speak immediately when I answered the call.
Obviously calling from abroad- even though code says from Wales. Didn t answer immediately and then said he was from Microsoft. Asked if he had heard of telephone preference and he just carried on talking. Told him not to call me and put phone down !
NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

Silent call. Phoned me at 11:42, but when I answered, the caller didn't respond and left the line open, so I hung up after 3 further tries to get a response. They haven't called back and didn't leave any answer phone message.
