Started talking about some life insurance but then the call dropped.
I ve been called by this number on over forty occasions, unasked or uninvited.
02 Nov 2021 - An Indian guy rang my mobile from this number, knew my name. I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? I asked what it was regarding and he said the rent on my address and knew my address?? I said I don’t rent my house and he put the phone down on me??? Very suspicious as he knew my mobile number and name and address?? Rang back and it said “thank you for calling in credi
Claimed to be from HMRC. Indian accent. Named a person and postcode - not our household but postcode in the correct region. Hung up when I said the details were incorrect. Unlikely this is truly HMRC.
They rang me asking me to do a review on my life insurance as it had been a while wen I asked them how long since I took it out as I know wen it was they said a date that was not the date my policy started so I said that s not the date so no thank u and reported them to the life insurance company. They said they don t do reviews as such but Wat hardy evens were trying to do is sell me another policy as they get commision for it. Ask them questions about ur policy and they should know wat the answers are if
