Supposedly from O2 UK - offering me a 40% reduction in call / contract costs. Foreign female / when I ask them to prove they’re O2 UK I receive official looking O2 UK texts with a code. I’m not convinced / so I hang up / block number / then check with O2 - await response.
Claim to be from 118118 updating their directory. They will sell your details to spammers (I know because they got something in our name wrong and 3 years later we still get junk mail and cold calls using that name, despite asking them to remove us from the mailing lists they sell).
