I was phoned by an 02920 (Cardiff) landline number and they said they were an organisation called Motorpal who can save you money on car servicing. Offered to send a £10 voucher off petrol and a £20 rebate off a car service I d already had as an introductory offer. The guy I spoke to (Elliott) sounded really plausible, and when I expressed doubts his supervisor came on the line and she also sounded quite genuine. Phone rang no-one spoke when I picked up so I hung up.
THEY CALLED ME ABOUT AN ACCIDENT IN THE LAST THREE YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT. I SAID SHE WAS A COLD CALLER AND SHE SAID HOW WOULD I HAVE YOU NUMBER, NAME AND ADDRESS IF SHE WAS A COLD CALLER. BECAUSE THEY VE OBVIOUSLY BOUGHT MY DETAILS. SADLY SHE S OBVIOUSLY NOT VERY BRIGHT.
