SCAM: A pre-recorded voice claimed to be from BT saying they were trying to contact us and would disconnect us if we didn't respond. Clearly fraudulent, put the phone down before it finished.
Answered. Said hello 3 times and then waited. Other party hung up!

SCAM- they say they are HMRC but they aren't. An automated voice will tell you they are filing a law suit against you and to press one. I pressed one and then they will ask how they can help you so I told them I got told to press one. She then asked for my name so she could see why HMRC are calling me and I said to her if you are HMRC then you would know why you are calling me and she hung up. Always remember anyone who calls you should know why they are calling and your details as they called you.
