Scam caller. Automated recording stating that "I" was under investigation for tax fraud and that I had to push 1 to connect with an operator or would be issued with a warrant and face arrest / prosecution. No reference made to which agency or company was calling. Complete bull. These matters would not be managed through a cold call.

Melville consultants visited my company saying they could appeal and reduce our business rates. The person who visited was Peter John. He said they could put in an appeal, no charge, but if appeal accepted then they would charge to complete the appeal and send in a surveyor. After researching it turns out anybody can put an appeal it takes a few minutes -the whole thing is a complete scam avoid at all costs. Scam call along the same lines as the Windows Tech Support scam. Caller named Alex attempted to show me errors in my router by showing me the Event Viewer, and then asked me to download some remote-access software from Teamviewer.com. When he realised he was getting nowhere, his vocabulary reduced to just two words, one beginning with F and the other beginning with O which he proceeded to repeat over and over.
Cold calling a TPS registered number. Claimed they were the Life Team based in Dubai. Obvious scam. Reported to TPS.
A mans voice saying who s this... Then he put on a Scottish accent and said he was calling from Scotland. Iasked if he was from a call centre he said no,but background sounded like a call centre He hung up
