This company are based on Scotland, however have now taken to ringing me multiple times per day from a local landline number of which this is one, I guess in an effort to trick me into answering despite telling them to only contact via post
Just had a call from this number saying he was a Bailiff coming round this afternoon to collect on a debt from an advertisement I placed for my business in January 2018. Very insistent but I ended up putting the phone down on him when he would not listen to me, and before he got to asking for any bank details. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN. I have now reported the call to my local County Court as advised by the www.gov.uk website.

Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.
Phone number came up as potential fraud, so didn t answer and number blocked. Found calls logged on another site stating they claim to be a smartphone company

Kept asking if I was Mr (Last name), I kept asking who he was. He didn t know my full name which is always a flag. Never told me who he was and why he was calling, he got frustrated and ended the call. No idea who he was but wouldn t be surprised if, like the last comment it is a computer scammer. Number is probably spoofed as well.
Same here-I’ve blocked the number and not opened it.

this afternoon, this No. called me and looking for someone who I DO NOT KNOW AT ALL. I said, i am not that person, you got wrong No. He said your sounds like that person. Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one. Apparently if you do you your telephone bill will be charged an extortionate amount of money - not sure how much because, fortunately, I did not press one!!!
