Call from someone saying they were from Microsoft calling about my computer, they knew my surname. Told them I did not have a computer and they rang off immediately

SCAM- HMRC . Do not press ANY keys to connect. If unsure, hang up and phone HMRC direct or speak to your phone line supplier. This has been my second call in 1 week from.the same scammers. Block this number.
The caller knew I was involved in an accident and said he was instructed by the other party s insurer to pay out ?1000 for a non fault accident. He asked for my personal details and details of the accident. I refused to give my DOB and he said I should get receive an email. He then mentioned I would be unable to call this number but gave an alternate no. to call i.e. 01273 660 457 if I had any questions
