I had an automated voice saying my talktalk internet access would be terminated and to press button 2 on my phone. I just put the phone down.
SCAM alert - ANIC Associates claim that you have a good chance of winning the Missold Solar Panels. Initially it was a no win no fee claim but then they said, it was more complicated so needed to charge £600 for legal document fees via credit card. Nothing is written down. Do not fall for this!!

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

Advise everyone to do same to fight this despicable practice. Eventually it will be uneconomic for them to try to tax the dumb and vulnerable like this. I m unemployed ex-programmer, trying to do something constructive, this mob is on "Do Not Disturb" mode, so only favourites ring. Bad numbers get saved as ScamYYMMDD
