Called today. Not English. Told caller I was not interested but he kept talking, then I asked how he got my number, he then said don’t you raise your voice to me sir, I then got quite rude to him, to which I now regret , but he kept on talking so I hung up and barred his number.

scam saying to do with Amazon Prime
Is 100% definitely DVLA. The number was quoted at the top of a letter from them which was sent with the returned application for renewal of my licence as I hadn't filled in all the required information.
Seems a bit scammy. Automated voice but largely unintelligible.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based.
