SCAM. Automated message claiming to be HMRC. Saying they had detected tax fraud in my name, but not mentioning my name, and that I had to press 1 or... at which point I hung up. I would expect if the HMRC were to call me they would ask for me by name.

Answered. Met with a wall of silence. Hung up.

The man said he wanted to speak to me about my Hotpoint washing machine. I told him I didn t have one...he then said my Bosch machine ...to which I responded I am on a list to stop me from receiving this kind of call and bid him farewell!
