Phoned pretending to be govt service blocking unwanted calls. Offered to fit helpful device in phone line. Gave 08451297936 - also listed here as untrustworthy - as no to call fo0r details.
I had a call from this number but when i rang back i got the message that "sorry your call can not be completed"

Scam - An Automated voice, claiming to be the Australian Taxation Office calling about a violation. Call 13 28 61 (the actual ATO) in Australia if you get called by this number
Hung up when answered
Fraud messages with "Hi mum I broke my phone so I’m using this in the meantime xx" then tries to get bank account details from you

Scammers! I answered, silence then call was ended but when I tried to return call the number is not recognised. nDamned nuisances!
Silent call
The caller said she was calling from Visa and said I should press 1 to stop £900 from leaving my account. I'll contact my bank and report this strange call.

Missed call, left a message using text-to-speech saying they will take legal action against me if i don't press one, clearly a scam
Mumbled voice that can't even speak proper English - told them not to ring me if they can't even speak my language and hung up on them!!
Fraud
I have been harrassed by this number on a daily basis, never answered because usually whilst I am at work. I tried to call them to see who it was but the phone just cuts off (it seems they don t want unwanted calls!!!!). I blocked the number in the end but they still call me several times a day because my provider sends me a text message saying I have missed the calls. Really annoying!
