BT, Openreach, Virgin or TalkTalk will never call you. These calls are always a scam.
Called tens of times. I answered a couple of times. They had my name and address. They definitely from India. I asked many times not to speak to me again but they never stopped. They hang up as soon as I ask them any question. One was very rude.. I said take me of your list.. he said I will request but it is up to my manager!!! I said I will report you to the police.. he said they cant trace this number. It is driving me mad.. I will try to block now.
Would not give name when questioned and told them no to ring again. Not the first time they have rung.
Information
A recorded message saying they are the inland revenue and a tax fraud investigation has bee set up in my name. They didn't say my name. I knew it must be a hoax, so I hung up.

My number has been ghosted, spoofed, cloned, call it what you will, it is not me, its probably scammers or cold callers, I will always leave a message if it was me who called and certainly wont hang up after two rings.

I got email yesterday that have to pay penalty charges for driving in UK, doesn t say where, doesn t say car reg number... Just to pay. Check the number that they have...
