Telemarketing for car accident claims
called me to tell me they were investigating bank branch I use asked to remove £1200 and post it to address they gave and it would be put into safe account. told them I am not idiot and they switched phone off.
SCAM - I got a text saying "HERMES: We have attempted to deliver a parcel on the 10/06. To reschedule please vist: https://hermes-myparcel-redirect.com/ " (Note the misspelling of "visit" - these scams always have spelling or grammar errors) My antivirus software alerted not to go into the site as it is malware.

Scam caller trying to access my computer. Claim they're from TalkTalk. Ask me to turn my computer , told them only access to tablet and they hung up.

Asian woman semi-articulate said she was calling about a refund I was due from Sky. She hung up when I said we were TPS registered.
He was calling on behalf of Universal Appliance (I do like the generic names they think up!) based in Leeds to do a quick survey of my electrical appliances. He wanted to know the makes of my TV, washing machine and computer, and the operating system and ISP I used. He was very polite but I failed to trace that exact name on Google and, although he said he could give me the site address, he didn't, so I don't know whether it was an attempted scam or a genuine company which hadn't checked the TPS lists.
SCAM - Text message to say they are contacting me from FEDEX as Karl cannot get hold of me to deliver a parcel, I am supposed to click on the link supplied - as if!
Called anon and then this number 3 times. Blocked them. And they then called anon again. Last time I hung up. They soon got the message. Not once did they announce who they were. Very rude. Sat there is silence. Only answered after I said hello three times then asked for a Mr Jackson. Manners. What ever happened to how do you do? Despite being told they had the wrong number they kept Calling and Phishing!! Never tell them your name, your actual number or where you live.
