SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Said they were from Ecotricity wanting to know why there was a late payment & if I wanted to pay now !
Went straight into a prerecorded message with a friendly female voice. "Hello! If you ve borrowed more than ?5000 ..." Hung up and blocked.

This number called us, plainly NOT from that area code. Some Asian man eventually managed to get me to understand "Your company electricity supply" VERY hard to unders...
Lady with Indian accent very polite introduced herself and said she was calling from Lifestyles. Asked about my housing, had my postcode - which I didn't like ended the call. I had previously been called by this number so suspect they're using a dialler as the first call dropped as soon as I answered it
