0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. Demanded my Mother to provide credit/debit card details immediately, otherwise full subscription circa £150 would be taken on debit from Bank (that bit doesnt make any sense). Foreign woman called at 1.55pm claiming to be from TalkTalk's Technical Team and told me they were going to disconnect my internet if I didn't make a payment. I have been with TalkTalk for ten years and have never missed my monthly Direct Debit so I knew this was one of the scams I'd heard about and immediately hung up and blocked the number through my call rejection service.
