Have been calling me frequently over the past few months, using variations of this number so blocking the number isn t much help. Sent me texts asking for Mr Paul Phillips, which is not a name I am familiar with. I have never answered one of their phone calls as I don t want to give them a reason to call more often.
Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.

This Southport area code number called me today at 15.50hrs. No message left so either a scam artist trying to flog something dubious or a kid with 10p pieces. No message left.

Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! Rang today, when I asked why they had called me and how they received my mobile number he just continued with PPI refund speech. Again I explained that I don t have loans or a mortgage so he then began to question me as to if I knew what PPI was as I must have signed up for it. Rude and don t take no for an answer so next time they call I am going to blow a whistle down the ear piece of my phone.

Rang me just now from this number. Answered as I recognised the area code but just hung up on me
SCAM / SPAM Automated message saying it's HMRC calling regarding a fraud case. I doubt the HMRC would call in this way. They ask you to press 1 to sort the issue. I would assume they start charging you an extortionate fee if you press the number. Do not press. If HMRC want to get in touch with you, they will do it with a person on the phone, not an automated message.

Received numerous calls from this number. Several times I ignored the call thinking it was a telemarketer. Several times I answered to get silence or a disconnect. Eventually they got through. this is the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register. they claim they are contacting all the people on the register to ask them to contribute £10 per month.
This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

SCAM Indian recruitment company Collabera is a SCAM. They contact me for a position with Bank of America. I've got an interview request but the links didn't work. I was contacted by the "supposed recruiter" asking me to call Bank of America. The phone I've called (this phone) does not belong to Bank of America. This phone number and several others are mapped to a telephony exchange with routes the calls to India.
