Said they were wanting information so they would tell me how much PPI I was owed. Wanted my borrowing history over 15 years. They asked me security questions but I kept saying I didn t know who there were and not happy to give out personal information. Conversation kept going in circles as they couldn t give me answers I wanted. Called me Mrs which has never been my status!
when I answered the call, the caller put the phone down, when I called it back it said incorrect number please check and try again.

Got a call from this number earlier. 01229 473762. The "01229" IS our national UK code and the "47" is particular to our local area but we think it was a scam attempt. Foreign accent named "John" saying he was from BT which we don't use! Can these shysters actually manage to appear to be local when probably ringing (on a phishing trip) from abroad?

my usual o2 bill is £28.00 monthly my previous bill came in at £37.00 phoned o2 and I was told no problem and they will give me my money back on my next bill my new bill arrived today and now I have to pay £47.00 and they gave me a text number and say stop and then they gave this long number and told me to try and get my money back them so I phoned them and guess what nobody can speak to me and the machine said someone will phone you in the next couple of days
Got a call today from this number, the chap told me he was calling from a PC support company and was calling about my support case. I asked him which PC as I have several, is it personal or business related, he said personal I then asked which make / model? no response he then asked if I was at home, I responded does it matter if I am on the internet and if there was a support issue and he could prove I had raised a support case I could grant him access at this point he put the phone down.
