Had a missed call at 11.30am from 01277557620 - it's based in Brentwood, Essex which is near to me. I thought it was odd to have a business calling me on a Bank Holiday! They left a 1 second message which was silent, probably one of those robotic systems that checks numbers to see if they get answered, so a human can call back later with a scam.... ????

Pause on answering followed by start of script relating to my "collision" requiring more details. I took a deep breath, told them that I have had no collision, that this was a scam call, and politely requested they remove my number from their database then I put the phone down.
This lot called a TPS registered number claiming they could save money on my energy bills. Avoid.

SCAM / SPAM - Used maiden name, commented on the colour of my hair, which features in my email address. The call was regarding my registration with the financial markets. So many alarm bells ringing here!! Take care, these are scammers without a doubt!
