Almost certainly a scam call. Automated message referring to apple ipad, amazon and wishing to make some refund. Did not press their required number and the call cut off rather repeat their message which is more likely in such cases. Suggest that people ignore!
Noisy call centre - guy selling advertising - this time for Motor Trades. Shut them down & get the people back in to manufacturing or jobs that are useful to the community!

Mr Number (great app) blocked the call. I ve set it to block all numbers from Manchester (sorry Manchester, but here in London the only calls I get from 0161 are telemarketers and scammers). I check ed just now to see if it should have been blocked and yes, thanks to all who posted details above

Answering gives a dialling tone for possible redialling or onto a fax machine - it appears to be a Dundee Number!?
Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. Who knows
