It?s so nice to be told that there is a problem with my Windows pc by ?Microsoft?. When I asked for the windows licence tag number (as per the sticker on the PC and on the installation disk) the number they offered was bogus, not even the correct number of digits. Must admit that it was enjoyable to waste the chap?s time although he probably is being paid a pittance in a call centre overseas.
They called today, it is a scam and I told them to clear off (stronger words than this). My family live in Derby but this number is a made up number with a Derby code. Tell them...
