I get calls frequently from this company and have blocked their different numbers, annoying
Chris "an energy adviser for my postcode". Funny considering he's in Bournemouth and I'm 100 miles away and he rang me a month ago on a slightly different Bournemouth number with a slightly different spiel. He hung up on hearing the scepticism in my voice.

Phishing calls re minor road accident (that actually did happen this time!) - no idea where they got my info, insurance company claim ignorance. Caller John/Jonathan claimed to be from the vehicle assessment centre , told me I am entitled to compensation due to value of damage to my car and encouraged me to make an exaggerated and fraudulent claim for injuries/inconvenience. Passed to claim handler Dominique who claimed to be at firm called Colby/Colbie. Told her to go fuck her hat.

Gumtree scam. They communicate via a Whatsapp account called "TOY" with a sunset profile picture. They'll pretend to want to buy something from you (even asking detailed questions). When it comes to payment, they'll want to use a courier from "Gumtree delivery", and they'll only make the payment using a link that looks like a gumtree link.
