SCAM suspected This was one of seven calls today from various numbers who said they were Virgin Media telling me there was problems with my broadband and telephone line. I'm not a virgin customer and so I asked them how that could be and apparently I was lying and I should go and log onto my computer and follow their directions. They were told to stop calling. All appeared to have the same script.

Caller "Jacques" claimed to be from Eon - 3 calls now but I know EON do not call their customers - WE have to call them to get a better deal (in itself shameful) "Jacques" said our energy renewal was due - (It isn t!) and he claimed he would give us a better price / a lower tarrif!
