An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!
Recorded message about Amazon Prime - an obvious scam. Number now blocked & reported.
Had a message from them: “PayPal: We have suspended your account due to suspicious activity. Click this link to restore your account before we delete it”. Looked into it and PayPal only send you two types of text message, neither of which are this. In fact PayPal themselves recognise this text itself, quoting it as an example of ‘phishing’

Has called once a day for the past 4 days. One at 10am, then 11am and 2pm. Don t answer random numbers. A quick search showed 02 confirm this is a number they would use to call you.
