Silence when I answered and hung up after 9 seconds. A recorded message of an American woman saying the number is not in service when I called back and automatically hung up on me.
Any ideas who this is?
they called me pretending to be HMRC. Looks a scam to me as they hang up when I asked some hard questions. Don't give them anything just ask questions. Thanks

Ask the Bank to investigate. They must know where the money went. Also the number has only ten digits, not enough to be valid in the UK.
