Now called me 3 times on my mobile. On one occasion it would not let me answer. Today it rang and then rang off before I could answer. If it doesn t cost me money and doesn t get too persistent, I am just going to ignore it.

Received several calls from this number. Habitually leaves a voicemail message telling me to call a number prefixed with 0151 (Liverpool code) if I want my number to be removed from their data0base. Bizarre.

West Indies accent, Calling about my washing machine warranty. Didn't confirm any details about my address. Guessed at the make of my washing machine - wrong. Told them so, hung up. Suspect they are phishing for information and possibly even scamming if you get to the point of giving them details for the direct debit for the warranty that won't exist.

Alleged call from HMRC with automated male voice telling me to press 1 to avoid being arrested for fraud. Absolutely sure it is some new scam attempt to get money from scared people - it sounded quite threatening!
