Got a text message today saying the following. "HMRC have determined that you are eligible for a tax rebate of £330.32. Press the link to get started: https://www.hmrc.tax2rebate.com/verify//"
these guys call me every single day and then hang up. theyre doing it just to harass me because in the past ive told them im not interested when they call. when i call back i hear distuyrbing animal screams. its as if they are deliberately using this number to harass people who have told them not to bother them again. BT should ban this number, and whoever has sold them the VOIP system and virtual number should know they are abusing it and terminate their service.
SCAM / SPAM Scam based around some sort of road saftey leaflet for schools. Tried to convince me he had called last october and I had signed up for paid advertising on this leaflet. Very convincing patter. He's promised to send me some info by email so will just trace his IP address and make sure his internet stops being useful. Very clipped speech as if using VOIP on restricted bandwidth.
