Fraud. This number called my mobile number and it was a recorded message stating that my details had been forwarded to an investigation team into tax fraud. This is a scam.

SCAM / SPAM A man rang my landline and asked if I'd had trouble with my Sky broadband connection. I told him I hadn't, but that didn't put him off! He asked me to go to the router and tell him what colour the lights were. I told him I'd noticed he didn't say my name when I answered the phone, so said I suspect he's not from Sky. I asked if he knows my name. He just said "OK". I asked him to tell me my address and customer number, and he said "OK, OK". I told him I'd ha

A moron who called himself Chris wanted to ask me something about energy. I interuppted and asked who he was and what was his company name. He said they were based in SW London so I asked why they had a Bornemouth telephone number. He hung up!
SPAM Normal sales opener - energy provider for your postcode area, I assume you're the homeowner, how is everyone today? I asked him, is this roof stuff? He didn't need to answer. He thanked me for my time and hung up. Past callers have told me that whatever I have is inefficient, carcinogenic, and can rot. I'm sorry, but I didn't give him a chance to say what today's fairy story was.
