Claiming to be Hammersmith police station over bank card fraud, check lots of bank acc details, then say when the call is finished a dialling tone sounds and to dial one's bank customer advice. This takes you through to another fraudster claiming to be your bank who takes more details then says they are transferring you to the serious fraud office. This is an automated recorded message, trying to harvest potential insurance claims. Do not be fooled. I don t know how to get in touch with the company or block the number, but I do know they are spoofing the telephone number; it s not really their line. If you call it back, it s an incorrect number . This type of behaviour should be illegal if it isn t already.
