01189077601 called today totally silent before hanging up. Being a local call i dialed 1471 to see who called me. The number was in fact a mobile number being 074267249 in which case is has to be someone who is a scam merchant jumping on another phone line.
have had 3 missed calls from this number today,no message left on voicemail so they must be trying to sell me something i don t need,but after reading comments that have been left for this number i certainly wont be answering any calls now.

They keep phoning although I do not owe them any money. They seem to be fishing for details because they keep asking for things ie; my name. surely if ? i owe them money they already know my name?
Allegedly from National Crime Agency reporting fraudulent use of my National Insurance number . This was a pre-recorded message stating that unless I pressed 1 to speak to an agent , my NI number would be frozen .
