Called two or three times a day refuse to pass me to a supervisor use blatantly false names, lie and hang up when I insist on speaking to a manager.
SCAM Potentially dangerous. Very hard to understand. Repeats script if asked to explain. Today's topic is "you've purchased a £49.99 Amzon gift card, but the physical address is not your registered address, shall we cancel the purchase?" I asked the caller where he was were calling from and he said Holborn Road in London. The caller ID (later callback "not recognised") was a Rochdale number. Smelled fishy so I disconnected. Arse!

Kevin called from BT claiming my internet had been compromised, the usual story. When told had no internet and if he really was from BT he would know this, he called me a liar as everyone has internet and all suppliers use BT so I needed to do what he wanted.
This number called me early on a Saturday and woke me up. I did not get to my phone on time so I called back and heard an automated message stating it was Action Claims Bureau and went on to list options about having an accident and claims etc. I have never had an accident that I could claim anything from and very annoyed that they called at such an early hour on a Saturday, not that their call would be welcome anytime but especially not then.
Thus number called twice within 15 seconds and hung up before I. Could answer
