They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.
London number 02082502351 This is scamming number. Automated message when you pick up. Pretending to be British Telecom, calling about some fault on their broadband service. Put the phone down and bar this number.

It s Vanquis Credit Card. I live in St Helens so they think that because they use a St Helens Prefix I will pick it up. They ve been hounding me for weeks for ?70. They ve probably wasted more than that in man hours over that period trying to call me.
