Automated call at 14.43hrs 22.3.22 quering payments from account to Amazon and Bank transfer. Obviously I terminated the call

I have been charged by my provider for a text apparently received from this number. I didn't receive a text and haven't a clue whose number it is. Very annoying!
when asked caller how he got my number he said is was from a database supplied by the government !!!, fat chance, told him I did not take cold calls, does he think I was born yesterday

same thing happened lastnight at half six then at mid day today. it is not the first time ive had calls like this
SCAM FRAUD SPAM Received a call from this number asking about a road traffic accident i was involve in. When i asked them to confirm some details of this alleged accident they started laughing and repeatedly asking me if i remember the 'accident'. After asking for details to be confirmed again they laughed some more and then hung up.
