Received a call at 9am and immediately told them I was on the telephone preference service, that they shouldn t be calling and then I put the phone down. Within seconds the phone range again and the caller said that it wasn t an unsolicited call, that I should put the phone down as he was trying to help me. I allowed him to continue and he then said that my computer had been corrupted and he would help me resolve the issue and I should go to my computer. Had a missed call, left no voicemail.
16.15 automated call claiming that my BT internet connection is about to be terminated, and asking me to press 1 for further information. I do hope no-one falls for this idiot scam, as I suspect pressing 1 might lead to all sorts of trouble if one were that gullible
Tried to get information from me regarding a recent insurance claim. Was persistent that people were injured in a car accident but no one was. Believe to be a scam, don't answer from these people.
