Telephone Preference Service is free and will never call you. Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.
Silent line for a few seconds then oriental sounding lady speaks. On about claims and questions about credit cards, store cards etc. Hangs up.
I rang this number bacj as had missed call. Went straight to an answer phone thing but didn't say anything.

This is a good service from NHS. It is a reminder call about an appointment to remind you that you have one in the next few days or a call to say appointment has to be changed for whatever reason. You then have the ability to fix your next appointment at a time that suits you. This is a good service and deserves to be supported.
Over the past few months, this number has called me on Skype. nIt rings a few times, not quick enough to answer it. nWhen I called it back, the recorded message says "Hello...
