Just phoned me asking about a car accident I've had recently. NOT! Suggest you block this number or they may keep bothering you.
Caller asks about washing machine make we've never had then when I asked who he was said his name was Chris, Didn't sound like a Chris though, English was highly India...
Call from India, saying they were from 'British Telecom' to let us know our internet speed was down. Wanted me to check on my 'device' to see what my reading said. Then asked whether it was a portable or a desktop. I questioned if that was relevant. Then asked if it were a business or personal device. At which point I said again, I don't think that's relevant. And then, they hung up. So I would say that it was a fishing cold call pretending to be BT. She did offer to give her 'id number', so be wary.

Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!

Scam - re-routed to India call centre. Said that a HMRC tax fraud case was open under my name and that I should press '1' to speak to the case manager.

I saw it said Birmingham England and the number, Its never rang me before So I didn t answer
