SCAM post office scam
Answered the call and it was a civil servant helping me with my benefit payments. Perhaps others would rather not hear from the DWP(!) but if you re expecting a call as I was then it s probably best to accept it.
Insulation. Called to tell me that the loft insulation I had supposedly had installed could cause more problems than it solved. Told the caller they had a wrong number as this did not apply to me, yet the young man continued in his spiel, so I put the phone down. My number is ex-directory.

Fraud , indian female , claiming she was from virgin media, asking if i was aware my broadband would be cut off in a couple of hours as there had been a lot of illegal activity from my account. she hung up after i pushed her to give me information about my account. i am not sure whether it was passwords or payments she was after but she got nada from me and hung up.
i applied loan from these s**ms and got scammed repoerted to the police/and fraud agency unfortunately i wont get any fees back what i paid ..neveragain.

Delayed response when I answered, then an unlikely "Alan Smith" introduced himself, couldn't understand the company initials he gave, and then launched into a dia...
Been plagued by these folks since joining the RAC. Have today filed a formal complaint with the RAC and TPS.
Phoned. No message. I don't know anyone in Dartford.
