I told them to take me off their database and she said that she will not do that and would keep calling me. I told her that I would report the business and she said that she was not bothered.
sound of talking in a foreign language in the background but no other communication (this was the fifth 07988 number to ring in 15 minutes on 17th June)

We get calls every day from this company, whoever they are, asking to speak to a Mr Michael Johnson. We tell them every time that nobody with that name lives here and to stop calling. To no avail. Sounds like they are calling from abroad so registering with the telephone preference service doesn t work in this case.
Fraud/Scam Very convincing automated message said they are calling as there has been a suspicious transaction to an overseas account from my credit card. Press 1 to cancel the transaction which I did. Then said they would put me through to someone. As soon as they did the person say NatWest Visa how may I help you. Strong foreign accent. I just new it was a scam and put the phone down because as I was being put through about a suspicious transaction they would have already known how they could help me
Some company trying to sell double glazing, doors, insulation, boilers basically anything you will say yes to they will try and sell you.
