The caller said he was from british gas and asked for the last 3 digits of my post code. I told him I don t answer questions from cold callers. he said OK, please call customer services of british gas. Basically they were chasing an unpaid bill.

Wanted me to claim compensation for injury sustained in a car accident. The man sounded foreign and had to repeat himself several times before I could understand him. I told him neither I nor anyone in my household had had an accident, he started to insist but I hung up.
